Looking very clean and shiny, and damp all over the inside. Apparently to detail it they removed everything, cleanded it and put it back again.

It's now looking significantly better than it did at any other time since we bought it.

but will it ever be the same?

    No

The detailers took the insides of the car out and washed everything.

It's so clean I get worried when I get in.

I'm trying to convince Rilka to sell it and buy something a little more bomby.

    Cheers

I'm still waiting for someone to steal our Rocky and try and make a quick getaway. I mean it's slow normally, try it now with current engine & carby faults and you're lucky to get outa fourth unless there's a hill to roll down.

I suppose that's the positive of owning bombs...no one wants to steal them as they're not much good for joy-riding/parts.

Wish that were the case, but Rilka's 1968 Datsun 1600/510 was stolen and recovered 3 times before we passed it on.
