I've finally done it, I bought a car last friday that I have wanted since I was fifteen. They say though, that you don't "buy" them, you "adopt" them.
So i've adopted Disco Poms P38 (Fluffy), Does this mean I get a chegue from the government, because it was adopted?????
So far I've done about 1500kms of quiet effortless armchair driving. This car is an absolute credit to the dedication it's previous owners have put in, I've looked at 2001 P38's with 105000kms for 30g's that don't look this neat and tidy, i'm looking forward to keeping it this way. I must admit though i'm still a bit nervous about something breaking. I had a heart attack at Myrtleford when i couldn't get the fuel door open, starting to sweat I then looked at the dash "Ignition Key In" thats why it wouldn't open, damn smart **** cars.
I have a couple of questions though, but I will post in the tech section.
Couldn't wait to get home from work today, the falcon is no match for this car.
The best part is that my wife likes driving it (memory seats)
Oh and we need suggestions for a name change and plates depending on cost, Thinking along the lines of LUVSNO, SNOLUV, RRLUV, LUXMUD(), Ideas???
Stu
My Wife says not Fluffy (no offence disco poms, niece/nephew - big white fluffy cloud), My mates already think i'm gay for buying a range let alone one called fluffy.

One of your car's previous owners christened my P38a "heffalump"
I'd like to return the favour and suggest either:
'Spence'
or
'Winnie'
