    Right, it isn't about recipes!
    It's about the restaurant business.

Yeah, point taken, I guess it is sort of the same as (at a stretch) Top Gear. My other half is not really into vehicles and stuff but she enjoys Top Gear as it is not all about the car ........ she sees the funny side to it all to .....

Might give Ramsay a go then .......

What he does is take a down & out business and put it back on the rails again

His theory of how he does this can be applied to all business

    I see his message as::

    Find your flaws
    Keep it simple
    Offer the quality

but more importantly:: "Get your message out" to the right people that you want to deal with, Don't sit home waiting for them to come to you.

Why on earth is Big Brother still on? What a pathetic show. I also don't mind Ramsay's kitchen, though I must say I'm starting to get pretty bored with it... same old, same old!

As for Biggers Loser, not my favourite show. Good on them that they're making an effort to lose weight, but once again, been done to death. Sure as hell doesn't seem to make any difference with all the obese people I come across in the city all the time. Interestingly enough, they are mostly women. Also interesting, never see Asians overweight.

God I wish we had the discovery channel. Used to have it but found it too expensive & the amount of time I'm at home, hardly got to watch it anyway.

I do think the Biggest loser deliveries a positive message and it has helped to motivate my obese Sister in law and her husband too loose weight and improve there health

Thank god for the discover channel, history channel....oh and cant forgt Family Guy.....

Haven't watched hells kitchen. Surprised the Yanks would put up with him, being as arrogant as they are.

Aye? If you're referring to me, no I don't watch them if I can avoid it. TV's been off since I got home from work. My partner however, seems to like to have the TV on regardless, so get snippets now & again. Working such long hours, it's occasionally nice to "unwind" watching the TV, only problem, there's so little on to use to "unwind".

    Agree.

There are some lucky sods out there who benift from his expertise, & especially his management skills. Still, am getting a bit sick of the repetititive nature.

If you dont like it dont watch it, I dont see what there is to complain about.

Im of the belief that Cricket, football and all other sports should only be seen on pay TV including the Olympics but that wouldnt be very popular with a lot of people so I just dont watch sport on TV very often so that Im not supporting them.

I've long held the view that Big Brother is for egotistical losers without an ounce of talent and far too stupid to realise they are being exploited by the producers for other equally sad losers to watch and talk about. Utter waste of airtime.

Ramsay's Kitchen, on the other hand, I do quite like. Probably because he does such a good job "explaining" things to people who are too stupid to see the bleeding obvious with their businesses (Plus the odd alleged chef with delusions of grandeur)!

Most the the reality shows today though (Especially the singing and dancing ones) fall into the category in which I place BB! Surely there are better things people could do with their time than watch this drivel, never mind want to star in it?
