I didn't really care about what subscription brings to me, it was more important to me to give something back to Inc. to try and help cover the running costs of the forum.

If I had a rack mount server spare or the necessary $$$$ to help provide one then I would contribute it. I'm just happy the forum is here and want it to stay as long as possible.

It's a great resource and has a fantastic community built around it.

If 80% of the members were subscribers, Inc would have funds to build the site up!

    Cheers

I'm glad this is now coming clearer for someone like myself who is a bit slow...... as a fringe dweller I've stood back and watched the die hards drool over rocksliders, lifters, all sorts of kit, ,... and discuss three amigos and the merits of one tyre over another..... sort of like soaking info in by osmosis. This is a good community and I commend the moderators who have kept their house usually in order and those who visit it with goodwill....may it continue....

Yep, I subscribed just to give something back to this great site. Didn't really care about the benefits of subscribing at the time, but if search has been turned off for non-subs, then I'm glad I did it!

    Hi,

I am one of the none subbies....I did not realise that you could subscribe!!

I wonder how many others are like me. Having seen the 80% figure quoted it would seem a lot.

Perhaps, if easy to do and at all possible, a blanket Email to ALL members informing them. I am sure most will join. After all, a few bucks is not much to pay against the time and money etc that this site saves you in repairs etc etc.

Let alone the good work many on here do.

I'll be paying up as soon as I have posted this.

Thanks to all who makes this site possible.

    Chilly

Like some of the others here, I didnt really understand what the subscription thingy did 'cos the site seemed to be giving me everything I asked of it.

Anyway, now I have been made aware I have just subscribed and feel a lot less guilty.

I have also express posted my left kidney and 1st born, hope this also helps maintain the site.

If you cannot get a fair price for my boy could you post him back 'cos I kinda miss him.
