    The decision to donate was made by the mother, but approved by all members of the family. She was the first one to think of it.

    There have apparently been previous cases at Canberra where parents have offered to donate their baby's organs, but until recently the hospital has not had the facilities to do so, or at least this is what we were told.

    Again, thank you all for your sympathy.
