Oh! what an entertaining thread, it doesn't matter who or what party gets into power, it is all controlled by the bureaucrats anyway, it is them that implement the policies, and if certain members of them do not like particular policies, then it is "Buried" in some draw, only to emerge when a reveiw is called, or when there is an upcoming election where it can be used as an example of a failed police or an unfulfilled promise be opposing parties, the TV show "Yes, Minister" is closer to the truth than most would like to admit.

How about one of the positives from rudd , Upping the medicare levi from 50 g to 100 g ,
It had been at 50 g since the introduction by the Howard goverment for how many years

Now if you want private cover and which the howard goverment forced you to have it if you earnt more than 50 g or you paid a premium in tax

Now the howard goverment was stuck in the 50,s and never raised the fresh hold for the levi , even with wage,s creeping up and so many people and family,s fell into the loop hole i for one have paid the cost of this ancient pay level

And also the health care company,s kept putting their prices up and the howard goverment did nothing they allowed all the increas,s

We could go on for years with the pro.s and cons of both mobs , but in the end you only end up with puppets and clowns who ever the party is
