    Is the filter changed at 10k or 20k intervals?
    On some LRs, the intermediate service does not involve a filter change.

    Exactly. If they only cost $30k, as they should, it wouldn't be so much of an issue.

    They probably would if they built them properly in the first place. I just get gobsmacked by the stuff i read here, "on my third diff", "a new common rail system" etc etc.
