I was hoping someone might know where I could get a set of OEM (or even better, copies thereof) at a good price.
The ones in the ute at the moment are stuffed - and there's 2 layers of mat (each is stuffed!).
I've always like the look of the Wright Off-Road acoustic mats

MR Automotive sell a pair of rubber front floor mats to match the profile of the floor (not up the firewall) for about $100 from memory.

Go to Clarke rubber. Buy some of the rubber mat they put in the bottom of horse floats. It is about 10mm thick and soft enough to bend up the firewall but stiff enough to stay in place. Use your old mat as a template and cut with a stanley knife.
I masked off the Foot pad area and used contact glue to attach a layer of insertion rubber, much tuffer and about 4mm thick.
I bought a meter of the stuff and it was cheaper than one original mat.
Steve.
I have a pair of, not OEM, but official accessory mats in the front and they were thankfully put there by the previous owner. They are really (as in stupidly) expensive but I have to say they the best I have seen.
They look great and that that price they should look like Elle in her undies but I like the tall ridges around the sides which acts like a swimming pool and keeps the water that comes in all in one place and you can empty out the cab by removing them carefully and pouring on the the ground.
But did I mention the price? I blocked it out but I think it might have been something like $180 two years ago![]()

Yeah James you are describing the sort of thing I want - a 'bucket' mat - I love it !
I have them in my 200Tdi but they are cut in around the air-con etc so can;t really take them across to the 300.
The mats currently in my 300 are crappy flat ones.

i used the old ones i had in the disco which were mud grabber ones pucrchased from repco with the inch &half lip up the side. I put the front mats which have the flap that would go up the fire wall in the back, and the rear mats in the front foot wheels. my truck is a TD5 hope it helps.

purchased a set of LR factory mats a month ago. They were the last set in NSW to fit the 94 shape and LR said they are not bringing them in anymore. Damn expensive about $140 or so but they are bucket mats like stated in the above post mats also fit discos. You cut along certain ridges to get the floor shape you want for your particular mod. Had some joe blow mats from super crap that replaced the origionals and hated them so spent the big bucks on the LR equip. Can be hard to find though and LR sales and service arnt the most helpful bunch. Especially as I drove mud and crap through their nice clean workshop leaving clumps of mud on the way.![]()
I just bought a set of front and rear mats from Aldis they are rubber had to cut them to fit properly but they were only $30 bucks. They hold alot of waterwith all the rain we have had, all Ive had to do is pull the mat out tip the water out and put it back in.
