    Moving to Sutherland Shire!

Hey guys, i'm the proud owner of a brand new enormous mortgage! - or is it the owner of me? Anyway, just bought my first place in Oyster Bay and wondering if anyone on the forums is in the same area and knows of some good local tracks?

Welcome to "Gods country - The Shire"

Very little in the way of local tracks though - not sure of the status of Menai anymore.

Whereabouts in Oyster Bay?, as that is my original stamping ground. Not much better in Sydney than the Shire.

    My old stomping ground....
Can remember when Kiora rd was only tar in the middle of the road(showing my age now),gravel and dirt then grass. No footpaths on my side and the creek just down the road where we used to catch tadpoles and frogs.
The last time I drove thru there from the station up towards President ave, they had units built over the creek....ughhhhh,the price of progress...

I presume you mean the Shell at the corner of Carvers Rd/Georges River Rd. That was originally a Neptune garage when Bates Drive was first opened. Before that you had to access the Princes H'way through Sutherland.
