yes, he's had it on the market for quite some time.
as they said in The Castle..."Tell him he's dreamin'....

Think I'd rather have 110county's beast http://www.aulro.com/apc/showproduct...uct/1918/cat/9 and lots of $$$ left for goodies.

for 30k you would get a pretty good low milage 04 disco

or a dam good fender of the same sort of vintage

    or maybe a good clubby.....

or a wrecked over priced rangie that no one wants

    cheers

OR - for 30k you could probably pay someone to build you a better one.

    Base rangie - $1.5k
    Lockers - $4k
    Engine and GB - $4k
    LPG setup - $2k
    Wheels - $3k
    Winch - $1k
    T-case gears - $1.5k

Comes to $17k. That leaves $13k for custom tubing and bodywork, and all the other bits and pieces.

You could probably even buy a rangie with all the above already for <$10k, which would leave even more work to build the custom body.

Do they still build them things? They used to wreck Valiants then got into cutting up Rangies for fun.

As said before "Tell him he's dreaming"

Not a hope in hell. Even if it did cost him $30,000 to build over serval years . That does not mean it is worth that now. After all look now you can buy a mid to late 80's rangie with rego and roadworthy for $1500. That makes them worth less in one bit and worth more in parts
