Exactly the same impression I got when I fitted mine... And the reason is that a halogen as two brighnesses between high and low beam (say 60/100W) where as the Bi-zenon HID's have the same output for both positions. When in low beam the light is spread out over a smaller area which is fantastic but when you flick to high beam the same amount of light is spread out over a large area and the contrast is noticeable.
It's not that the High beam is dim, it's just that it looks dim in comparison to the rediculously good low beam:D
My solition... add 4 more HID spot lights to the high beam! Oh baby!
