Will go to the shops today and see what is available. It is a pain getting it in 5 litre containers when you need 6.6L.

I checked out the Syntrans situation with the local Castrol distributor today. I can get 1 litre for $24 or 20 litre for $354 - expensive stuff! Its also got me stumped why they don't sell it in 4 or 5 Litre containers.

Has anyone used Valvoline's recommended semi synthetic - Duragear 75W-90 in their Discovery 2's differentials and transfer case? (Much cheaper at around $11 to $12 a litre from Supercheap in 4 or 1 litre size.)

Penrite SYNGEAR 75W-90 is around $20/litre or $41/2.5 litre would this be a good "full synthetic" choice?
