You didn't mention Jeremy Clarkson.
Would you believe a face like that?

it was ****in down before webber ran - they even mentioned on the episode in question that he would have been about 2 full seconds faster than Hill (the lap time is about 4 seconds slower when wet)... IF it's all to be believed. For what it's worth webber did not believe there was 4 seconds more in the car as driven by him 3 or more years ago... who is to say it was the same car with the same power/tires etc? I personally wuoldn't trust clarkson and his "producers" as far as I could throw him (and that's not far, he is a big bloke!) lastly for what it's worth, the car stayed remarkably flat when driven by Hamilton, stuff all body roll compared to most past drivers running similar times - read into that what you will, driver or different car setup?
Oh well, I guess it is a bit of fun then. :lol2:
There was a little more to it than that too.
Uncle Tom put him in Helmut Marko's F3000 squad, and his team mate just happened to Juan Pablo Montoya.
Marko treated him as a typical pay driver, (which he wasn't) gave him a novice engineer who knew bugger all and basically ignored him for the whole time he was driving for him.
Marko thought Lowndes wasn't serious as he used to talk to the fans and sponsors, as he was taught to do here in Oz, and the poor ba$tard was team mate to the rising star of Euro open wheelers. He had no hope.
Gee another tall poppy shot???????:wasntme:
