    Patron Saint of Landrovers

Inspired by WhiteD3's poll I did a google for Patron Saint of Landrovers" and came up blank.

Any suggestions from the already established list of Saints or even someone who has not yet made the list?

Don't know about saints but the relevant Norse god is Loki.

    Patron Saint?

Well my feelings are it would NOT be Lucas. I think that would come under anti-christ heading.

    Cheers,

How about King Arthur? He (allegedly) made his name recovering something really, really stuck and thus became the "True King".

I just have fond memories of the film "The gods must be crazy" , where the series I was named the Anti-Christ by one of the charicters.

    Cheers,

Loki is the god of mischief and cruel jokes. In Scandinavia various god's names are given to children, Thor, Freya, Loki, Ragnar, but never Odin.

One would think it should be St. Christopher, patron saint of Drivers and also travellers.
(also relevant to Land Rovering, i.e., as in doing half a job, or partially completed jobs, or poor design....because it appears he was never actually made a Saint)

But it should probably be St Aplphonsus Maria de Liguori, who is the Patron Saint of....

    final perseverance

    Thor, thats a good one!

I was going to say Joan of Arc, say that over and over ala Doug Anthony Allstars. I do like Thor though.
