    Hey Mate

Can you tell me what brand and size these tyres on the D3 are please ?
Also, what do you think of them ?
They look like they might do the job.

    They are Cooper S/T's.
No idea on size from that pic - dunno what the stock rim size is for a D3, but then it may not have stock rims anyway...I run the on the D2 - see sig.
The S/T comes in all the usual sizes.
    Cheers

Oh yeah. Thats John from our trip last year. Where did you find that photo?

He runs 275 wide Cooper ST's and they are 32" in dia. He's on his way back from doing Madigans line with them (no punctures). I cant recall if they are 17" or 18" rims, though I'm pretty sure they are on 18's.

These are the rims if anybody can ID them

    Cheers

Slunnie, I found the pic on here somewhere, maybe in a trip report, cant remember ?

I would like to know more about John's setup.
Do you think you could ask him to post and tell us about it ?

    Yep, no prob.

Its standard with air suspension though and the ST's rub a little just on the crossmember behind the front wheels. Thats about it.

BTW, you'll probably get a better response if you put this into the D3 forum with a more appropriate heading.

Olbod, John who owns the D3 dropped by today on his way home from the Madigans line in the Simpson Desert.

The tyres are 275/65-18 Cooper ST's.
