Clarkie scores a Stroker V8 with Motec

Sunday went to Wollopit85's to have a chat and get a rover bit he had that i did not....
We decided to go for a drive to a wrecking yard and have a squiz....

Well after a few minutes of us jumping up and down and me getting very excited in the find we pulled the bits off we needed and then went home....
Next day (today) we went back with the full ammo of tools to extract an engine.....
9am we started and by 2pm the engine was out and on the back of my ute...

    What did i score????

4.2 Rover V8 with motec injection......

    Whats it going into???
    The county....
    Damn i'm excited....

I might even get it all done by xmas....................... not sure what year...

    Clarkie

ohh BTW, ********** are as rough as bags in their work.... how many helicoils can one have in one cylinder head for the exhaust.... Seems all of them... and the other head 2 bolts fell out as they were stripped....
burred over bolts on the flex plate and so many miss matched bolts that hold the pump, ac and alternator on...

Either way.. i have a Stroker donk to build up....

Glad you got a decent motor for the county, I just fitted one of these engines to a RR, and they have some serious bottom end grunt with the motec system. Good thing you have decent diffs under that 110

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
