Get stuffed Matt, If you want to drive a TD5, run some Coopers and cut your leg off, go ahead.

You will be fine as you dont mind electrickery.....oh yeah thats why you just put an Isuzu in your rangie intead of a TD5....You have enough money to keep replacing Coopers when the chop out and your mate with no legs can teach you how to not let it slow you down......the Rangies clutch might be a chellange for you though

Go on, Bite back, this place is getting a bit boring without you guys stiring the pot

I'm not sure that is quite right. Think he is going to spend it on head gaskets

    Smile the devils advocate

I believe you should, this is a very curly one to be around. years ago I worked at a Holden dealer during VN VP VR models I suppose being the mechanic I only saw the lemons. I found people often don't want to hear the bad news about a particular item they may own. I was that unimpressed with the holdens I bought a Ford, much to the disgust of mngment.
Share what info you have, I believe someone one day may have a problem and the experience you have shared may contain some info of assistance, and save someone a big headache.
When I share the stories of the major mechanical failures I had to repair there is always someone in the room who has owned a commodore that has given them trouble free motoring for years.
Opinions vary as do experiences share it all and keep it interesting.
