    HOW TO HIDE A FACTORY

I hope some may find this post of interest. The amount of labour/work that has gone into it in mind boggling . The nets at this time were all hand made from a string type material and coloured hessian hand laced through the nets to make disrupted patterns thes colours were chosen to match the local vegatation and would have had to been changed as the surrounding veg. changed, this task on its own took many hours of work on a single net. Our big nets were about 6x6 Metres, them they all had to be laced together. Putting nets into place is a night mare they catch on the least little object and they have to be support so that when they get wet they dont collapse .
For those exmilitary people you then have to take into account S,S,S,S & M = shape, shine, shaddw, sillouette & movement otherwise your net work can be non effective

Its now 2.36 pm and I realised that the photos did not stick again so with the help of zd 534 I now know how to use photo bucket

Truly extraordinary Hodgo. The netting over the aircraft must have dripped for ages after the rain had stopped I find it amazing that the USA believed that Japan had the capacity to bomb their factories. This is just one of many mind boggling projects undertaken during the war.
