Question Cadel Evans - Legend or try hard?

After the efforts of the previous similar thread on Mark Webber, I thought it would be interesting to gauge the feelings of the landy faithful of Katherine's own former mountain biking world champion and Le Tour failure Cadel Evans... so whaddaya reckon? is his blood worth bottlin? or is he as useless as tits on a bull?

Nothing wrong with Cadel, if he had a team like CSC he would have won it by miles, he had no backup on any of the mountain runs, his team was non-existant, Regards Frank.

he is a True champion , he came 2nd in 2007 and again this year in tour de france , but he is really inspiring, tonite I heard him saying he will be back , he just has a strong desire to WIN , previously he was a MTBing champion, he won the world cup in 98 and then again in 99.

    2 thumbs up for Cadel.

Actually I'm hoping they do go ahead and form the mooted all Aussie pro team to promote Australian tourism and to give Evans, McEwan and O'Grady the support they need to do well in all the main tours...

Where did i leave me tall poppy shears.......

I think Cadel is an absolute legend. He will the tour. His team support was sadly missing on the tour.

actually I'm not going to answer that question yet I tried to make the poll unbiased by making it all intentionally biased opinion - one of which I hold... you guess which

to say he finished second twice is no different to saying he lost twice, is it? surely legends are winners not losers.

I think, this year, Cadel proved that you can't win le tour on your own. CSC were great - proving what a successful team can acheive.
Cadel is a great rider - not yet a legend IMHO.
