    is this a good deal

    i just ordered these parts ( 300 tdi 95 )from the uk on friday and i got them yesterday ( 3 days to get here ..brisbane ) it did cost me just short of $600 inc clearance & to my door to get them here. the cost of all these parts to buy was $800 .total $1400 . i did not get charged duty etc . im not sure of the price of these here , but if you think its a good deal then my friend who owns a landrover shop in the uk said he will send to who ever wants them.
    heres what i got

    Without knowing the exact prices of those parts i suspect that by sending them airfreight has killed any savings you may have saved by buying from the UK, 400 quid so there was no duty (less than 1000AUD) otherwise it would be 10% but GST would have been about $140. Airfreight rate is approx. 2.60 GBP/ kg so i'm guessing weight was close to 175 kg ?
