    Bugger!

Well they say the old HJ47s are unbreakable I must admit... Nothing broke off It bolted and went end over end Never trust a Yota hand brake

    How it ended

    Outch!

Camera flatens it out but that is the 1st log it hit in angel gear after bolting for 800m down a slope. At some stage after this it went end over end till flat ground

This is paint off a front spring

A bit sad this I now have to replace it. Thankfully no one was near it other than a poor old dog. He surived. Tony

Looks nice. Parking brake should work as long as the usual leaking oil seal does not let too much oil onto the brake shoes. Just make sure the little hole to let the leaking oil out does its job, and fix the seal before it gets too bad.

Thanks John. I've always liked this model.
Another oiler in our area Will be going through it with a fine tooth comb.
Has LT85 santana main box and LT230 transfer
As we all know the LT85 and 4BD1 don't always mix well. This one has had a nasty history of eating the 7 ball race bearing. Tony
