    Site work - 0615 to 0630
    Or the office - 0730

I hate Melbourne winters and site work.

I start at 6 either morning or night 12hrs follow and then i return to my family

    Some may ask WHY?
    The answer is simple.
This lady looked after me for the 30 years I was in the Army and raised three kids at the same time.
Now, it is my turn to look after her. Yeah, I now, SNAG!

Just out of interest, how many other males do that?[/quote]

I cook 90% of the meals in our house(as i love to cook and she doesn't)
She does nearly everything else(can't get her to do the lawns tho)

It becomes hard to be civil to an idiot at 06:30, on the morning of day 7 sometimes.

    Cheers Andy
    Andy,

I hear you man, especially the civil bit, as I am in the same boat it seems. I deal with certain 'members' of the community and sometimes they are very testing .......

I leave once the bat phone is taken over by one of the guys at the office. It should be switched over at 7:30am. If they don't ring to switch it over I stay home till they do and then set off (Something about not wanting me driving on the freeway using a mobile and laptop all at once.
I can now tell you all that wireless internet around the Yass region is great but the semis rushing past you while stopped as realy off putting.
Takes an hour to get to work to. but I guess since I have the bat phone I am always at work.

My hats off to you for doing what you do..

We dont cook though... Plenty of good food at decent prices at all the sporting clubs around town.... Decent, healthy food too...

Oh, and we dont have lawns, just sand / dirt
