Ive been known to suffer from it...

    my key ones are

people who accelerate around me and then once in front of me go slower that I was going to.

people who cant judge the take off fom the lights and realise that the landrover in the right hand lane is going to get in front of them so they floor it and try to force past as they run out of merging lane.
idiots who do 30 kph rolling road blocks so their mates can have a drag race...

    tailgaters

people who snick their smaller cars into bays that IVe just lined up to do a 2 point reverse turn into (they usually wind up with a half crushed car and a "hey where did you come from")

my usual relief is to use some sublte tactics against them or if they are being abusive while driving to abuse them back till they hit something or realise that they are now miles from where they want to be, stuck in a traffic jam and on the right hand side of me and that I can keep them in the right hand lane as long as I like.. (this works especially well when co-ordinated with truckies ove r the UHF, with the help of 2 truckies we got a hooner most of the way from brisbane to ipswich and he was trying to get off somewhere near rocklea...)

usually tho when i get a good one that makes me want to pop the vein in my forehead and loose my normal "non axe murdering psycopath" persona you guys get to hear about it here.

I have only driven through Melbourne twice but on both occasions and mainly on the highways around Melbourne I had to continually check the speedo due to the fact I was passing everyone. I had been warned not to speed by a copper mate as he said you don't get the leeway you do in Qld.
Up here if you do the limit you have to drive in the slow lane.

As for road rage, when I drive by myself it is usually an R rated trip. I don't physically abuse anyone but I do swear and carry on. Slow peak hour traffic annoys me more than anything else on the planet.

    LOVE it! lol

personally, most of my anger/abuse is vented either on the grey nomads who dont understand the concept of NOT holding people up, especially the ones who travel in a bunch of 3-4 4wd's/caravans doing 60-70 down the highway...... making life difficult for anyone who wants to overtake...... giving them an earfull of abuse on ch18 after passing the leader doing 180-190+ usually calms me down.....

also get aggro about the tards who dont understand the stupidity involved in trying to cross 2 lanes of traffic when leaving a side road at rush hour......

dont get me started on the "indicators are just a suggestion" brigade

Paul, you hit the nail on the head, i give em a wide berth always, it must be that they don't own the cars + that there are so few australians driving them now, they don't seem to comprehend that there may be a large vehicle behind em when they do an emergency stop to pick up some unfortunate person that has to direct them to the MCG.

Well society seems to think that all my age group drive like morons, so I wouldn't want to discredit all these knowledgeable elders by driving in a dignified, appropriate manner.

In my Social Security Fraud Investigator days, I got right offside with the Marketing Manager off a large capital city taxi company by suggesting that he could overcome his staffing problem by paying a fair wage per hour, thus not needing to employ illegal immigrants, obese middle aged disability pensioners, and dole cheats. That way he would no longer have me, my staff, and my colleagues from the ATO and Immigration in his office and harassing his staff. I won't go into my opinions of, and dealings with taxi owners. Let it be said that I consider them in the same level of society as police informers, screws, provos, used car dealers, real estate agents.
