Personally I think there should be a number to call where you can report vehicle regos which are driving like maniacs and then if say 10 reports come thorugh from different people the person has their licence taken after a short investigation.

One old driver near me can't even stay within a lane if the road is straight and often has his grandkids in the car. I only just made it out of a bad accident on my motorbike recently when I noticed he was half in my lane when he was trying to drive in the other.

Well I ended up in court facing a wilful damage charge once just coz got out of my car and tried to rationalize with an idiot who cut me off. I was doing OK till he cackled at me and tried to do a burnout and get away ( thru a red light too ) and stalled it. I was temped to sink the boot into his door.
    Im weak. I did.

But I got off without a record. Worth the $400 bill including fine I got to see the beak get stuck into the hoon.
So now keep stoomph and I reckon I save thousands a day, absolutely thousands.

Sometimes driving in Perth or Adelaide I get a bit stressed with some of the idiots, even in Esperance from time to time, but we all make mistakes, have a limited field of vision and not see things, so usually just move on. Might curse sometimes and if somebody does something dangerous get a bit vocal, but would never take it any further than that.
However if it put my family at risk or danger would take action to alleviate this and / or report to police.

I just grumble most of the time.
Last road rage incident was when the guy swiped me and once I stopped he did the skid to a hault across the front of the car like he had forced to to stop. He then jumped out and started yelling so I just locked the doors and started writing down his details. Once he began to punch the windows I just pulled the mobile and rang 000.

Not sure how well this will go down...

im a first year P-Plater one of the sensible ones. i see no point in blockies or loud music or chrome rims. i got my licence so i have right to drive on the road right

the thing that really $#!+'s me off is tailgaters. here i am driving along the highway. ok yes i cant do more than 80km/h i dont want to lose my licence for the sake of some annoying person wanting a tow.

i understand it can annoy some people but what can i do about it. nothing
complain to the government. i reckon P-Platers should be allowed 100 in 110 zones but thats another thing...

anyway there was a day i was driving home from down the midlands and i had a truck full of feed for the feed lot with a big alloy bullbar on the front sitting so close up my ass i could see anything out my back window except this bullbar. how is this right?

am i not allowed to drive on the highways because so politician came up with a set of rules that limits my speed?

thats my rant for the day

I only get fired up at other drivers who have no tolerance or patience, start honking or flashing their lights if they are delayed for a millisecond.
    .
FGS a few minutes aren't going to matter in the scheme of things.

One day I was attending an Anzac day ceremony, some bogan loudmouth in his ute was abusing the cops for blocking the road, using all sorts of foul language within earshot of those at the ceremony. Now I'm not prone to standing up to this sort of behaviour, but in this instance I walked up to him and told him quietly to shut it. He was so dumbstruck he couldn't say anything, just sat there opening and shutting his mouth like a fish, so it had the desired effect.

"anyway there was a day i was driving home from down the midlands and i had a truck full of weed"

You had a truck full of weed???

Lucky in Victoria we don't have the 80kmh rule for L's and P's. It would have to be one of the stupidest rules in history.

Apparently when you ask a young german about getting their license, they just turn pale, rembering the experience. Over there they have TAILGATE cameras.

Last night I asked Dad how he got his truck licence. He went to Auburn police station and told them he needed it. The copper asked why. Dad said he was a mechanic at the abbatoir. So the cop said "Alright" and wrote it out.

i dont suffer from road rage, but i do suffer from 'incompetent, dis-respetful, selfish and dangerous driver disorder' if anyone does something that 100% falls into one of those categories i'll give them a couple of horn honks or light flashes, to let them know they are in the wrong.

i especially get annoyed by people who speed up to pass me and then pull back into my lane and slow down again, going slower than my (usually cruise control set) speed.

oh, better one. on a recent trip back from victor harbour, which is a two way road, with occasional overtaking lanes, there was someone in a VS commodore sedan doing 85kph in the 100 zone. very easy driving road, no tight corners, or anything. at EVERY overtaking lane(there were 3) he would speed up once i had gotten the td5 up to 95-100 and was basically alongside him, so that i couldnt pass. he wouldthen slow down back to 85. on the 4th one, i chose to start from further back and get to a higher speed. i only made it past(right spelling?) because i refused to back off once alongside.

i'm not proud that i was soo resolute in passing him on the 4th try, but his driving was downright stupid.

it was a man and lady in their 60's. i was disgusted and shocked with the behaviour.
