    The book has a title......

Phil, the paint guy at work...

    has named the book.

During a conversation regarding some stencils I needed making for marking out fire exits I mentioned I wanted one of them to be one of the the fire over crossed logs...

his comment was "If you ever write a book about your life you need to name it that, Fire over crossed logs"

There was a bit more to it than that but that's that, books named..

    Fire over crossed logs.

Not to put to fine a point on it but, I think the fire over crossed logs means camp fires allowed and is nothing to do with fire safety signs which have to meet certain requirements like, "Fire Signs are designed to show location of fire-fighting equipment including extinguishers, hose reels and alarms. "AS 2444:2001 Portable Fire Extinguishers And Fire Blankets – Selection and Location", specifies fire signs are required to locate fire extinguishers and blankets. Available either in Standard signs white on red or SetonGlo™ with text in photoluminescent." (sic).

you are correct, however there are a multitude of safety signs from foreign countries and we have a multitude of nationalities in our employ. We're already at what i consider to be the bare minimum possible for compliance. Even if we were at full "thats all compliant to true excess" it wouldnt matter, 99% of the guys will just ignore everything and do whatever the hell they want anyway.

theres only so many "so cut off again", "Muppet driver" stories I can tell before it all gets samish...

its not ment to be all about the low points of life and this is melbourne....

and I kinda like telling the stories where someone or something else was important to the story Ideally the ones where a life tip might be in hiding and not just the stuff thats all about me (cause lets face it I can already give zaphod a run in that department).

but theres been a few things about that might have been book worthy I'm open to doing a write up on something thats been posted elsewhere if thats whats wanted.
