Cheers, mate If they have a choice a 2/3 cylinder jobbie will be better for what I have in mind the larger the drive pully on the pump the better.

Close, very very close but not quite....

first person who guesses the exact concept (including why) gets the prototype after I finish the working version.

    among other things....

    obviously some hints are needed...

its an aircompressor so its going to compress air and given that Im building it out of a 240v 10aish compressor we're not talking piddling amounts to run a locker that I dont have nor a battery box that needs pressureising..

yes its for fozzy and yes fozzy's getting endless air (as well as hydraulics) but not off this compressor.

think along the lines of my employment and in particular the CCCCC trip as this is a project for the CCCCC trip.

i have got absolutely no idea, but something to do with spray painting,or spraying something.

i know those refrig compressers love to pump oil through themselves,so would be no good for this job.

its 240v,so gonna be used in w/shop before trip

pressure test fuel tank?....no i dont think so

air tools? to fix up fozzy....

    MORE CLUES.........

Mobile high volume air supply huh? Are you going to drive it using a belt? Or going to fit a whopping big 12 motor onto it?... unless you are thinking of using the 10A ac motor and drive it off 2500W inverter.... Mmmm, few alternators would be needed then.

If you get a decent sized compressor on there you could start using air tools, spray paint, inflate tyres in a few minutes. The fast inflation of tyres could be handy if you have a lot of cars that have aired down perhaps?

well theres the why.... but fozzy will also have an endless air compressor belt driven from the engine.
