    well I gone done it..

    500 thanks, not sure IF I deserve all of em but I got em, I said I would so Im going to.

    Im going to have a BBQ (plus i secretly want to outdo the pics from incs hel required thread as well as annoy the local rice brigade)

    I'll do it after the Airshow, hopefully while mum and dad are still here (this would be a good time for the CCCCC brigade to make a show) and since I now have my landrover fleet more or less consolidated I'll chuck open the doors to my parts boxes and so long as you take only what you need and not just everything you might want your welcome to whatever is there as part of the deal.

    If you cant get here but know someone who can they can identify parts that you want and I'll bag em up and send em on COD.

    ATM Im thinking of doing it on the 18th of october starting at about 1100 its the day mum and dad fly back but they wont have to leave until about 1730.

    As you know your parts boxes are safe from me as the only parts I would recognise so far are the brake rotors.

    BTW let me know if you need a "hand" with any more mechanicing jobs. This weekend is out for me but after that I am free & keen.

    Without trying to blow smoke up your posterior i think you deserve the thanks. I cant think of a more helpful person on here. I will try and keep the 18th free. Might have a severe case of bad eyes that day (couldn't see myself coming to work boss).

    Dave, just hold it what ever day suites you best.

    But make sure you publish a good story of the BBQ and how everyone behaved, what state their vehicles were in and whether they turned up in something other than a Landy. That way those of us who appreciate all your yarns, wisdom and advise, but have to far to travel can still feel a part of it.
