I tried to come up with something but I couldn't. You could borrow one of the names that I've called mine over the years when it has let me down but unfortunately none of them are suitable for a G rated forum.

I'll keep thinking .... by the way, did you get up that hill .......

    What's wrong with "GreenMachine"?

It depends what sort of name you want. I tend to personify my cars with human(ish) names. (My II is called "Gus") but some people like names like "The Beast" or "Stomper" etc etc.

I generally try and pick something significant to name my cars after. "Gus" is derived from Vagus which loosly means 'to wander'. Our Patrol is named "Harold" after everyones favourite anti-4WD extremist, Harold Scruby. My Fairmont is named "Monty" because, well... think about it.

I think green machine suits it.

I am no good at this stuff but it is lunch time on A Friday and I have 10 mins to kill before my 2pm meeting so I'll áve a go.

Soylent - cause it's green and some people are disgusted by it's very concept while others just can;t live without it.

Lorne - cause he played Ben Cartwright who was traditional, dependable, competent, no-nonsense and got the job done. and his surname was Green.

Mother - cause it fits in front of a couple of relevant words (Mother Nature, Mother ******), looks after you at times and annoys your wife when you spend money on her.

Shrek - cause people who don't love it think it's socially unacceptable

Hulk - cause it's incredible when used in anger

Soup - as in pea soup. A bit sloppy at times but hits the spot.

Better get off the browser before the 2 o'clock walks in.
