Very sad to hear, but like others have said, think of all the good times, at least there is no suffering now. My condolences.

Very sorry to hear of your loss, losing your dog is a most gut wrenching trauma, they are your closest mate.

    Hi Mike.
You must have 14 years of wonderful memories to keep in your heart. Let those memories be there forever. All dog lovers feel your sadness.
    Cheers, Erich & Sheila

    My heartfelt thanks to all.
My ex took most of the photos with her but there was a brilliant one of Bunz in my very first 4WD - a BJ70 Cruiser - she was maybe a year old. The passenger door is open, she's in the middle of the 1 & 1/2 bench seat with a six pack next to her and a look on her face like, "well come on, let's party!"

I just went outside and saw a shooting star - I guess she's just letting me know she got where she's going.

I know what you mean by the shooting star.

I'm going to give Tiger (My 12 year old best mate) an extra pat tonight.

    Sorry to hear

If you let them into your life the little guys sure break your heart when they go.

My dog Inga is approaching the end of her life and it will devastate me when the time comes to put her to sleep, as you said: "asking her to stay would have been about me, not her " is so true, I couldn't bear to see her in pain and suffering, my condolences to You and Yours, Regards Frank.
