Buy a D3 with air suspension and use "access" or (as I tell my wife when she's climbing into the car) "Midget" mode.

Turn the Disco into a convertable with a fold down screen

Then you could go up by about 3 feet

My carport is about 10 inchs to low to fit any of my vehicles so I just park on the lawn. My vehicles don't seem worse off for it. If I know of bad weather I do have a tarp and some poles at the ready but it is yet to be needed.

There are (new) Rumours that the QLD govt has finally ratified the NCOP for vehicle mods - which will allow up to a 50mm larger diameter tyre on solid axled 4x4s.

Supposed to be announced in December - wouldn't hold my breath though.

Man after my own heart, can not see sense in building a house for a car, a Shed, now that's a different ballgame, Regards Frank.
