so let me get this right, you want to lift your truck 3" but your house wont allow it so lets work it thru..

    2" spring lift = legal

    1" tyre lift = illegal

taking chainsaw to house = frowned on big time by special others that usually live in them as well

    so that leaves us with........

Mate, Id go the lift, garages are a waste of space for putting a car in....in my opinion. Turn the garage into extra living space.....thats what we have done, lick of paint some vinyl on the floor and voila... our double garage now is a kids room and 2 boys bedrooms.

Cars stay outside...one day will get a car port

    Regards

mm i see so excuse my obvious ignorance but how does that explain going from a 235/75 to a 235/85

    cheers

    ohhh

Tyre sizes for passenger cars are usually expressed as something like 205/65R16 91V. This is how you read the numbers: 205 refers to the width of the tyre (sidewall to sidewall) in mm 65 refers to the ratio of the sidewall, to the tread. For example in this case the sidewall is 65% of 215.
i naturaly thought it ment taller "der matt"..."desil fitther"
