Unfortunately the EPA would get you on noise polution.

That and the 11pm to 6am jet curfew, at least around Mascot Kingsford-Smith anyway.

Does it have a yellow ine around the inside of the cabin to mark the edges of the vortex? I wouldn't want to have anything loose around that thing, arms, legs.*

Breathing may also be a bit of a worry.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

My only suggestion is a set of wheely bars or a bag of cement for the scooter.

It just goes to show that no matter what you'd like to do, someone else has already done it and also has a website.

I was quite surprised to see he was married!

Having something sticking out the back like that wouldn't be allowed here. He should have used a 109"! Reading the thread here I thought he'd used a real VW bug - not a silly modern girly-man version.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

The problem with a genuine bug is that the engine is in the back using up the space required for the turbofan. The re-bodied Golf version of the bug has the engine in the front.

i guess you lot havn't seen the donut king van here on the gold coast with a viper jet engine in it, with afterburner.
i think it may be a bit better than the vw.
same deal, normal vehicle, carrying a jet engine.
i have some vid of it, but don't know how to load it.
    You mean this one?

I have actually been thinking about this for a while.

A small jet engine would fit nicely into the tray of a LR ute and you could have it concealed, just drop the tailgate when you want to use it. No need for an afterburner, that's just showing off. I would be really interested in the legalities of it. As has been pointed out it's not connected to the wheels so if it's not turned on then what's the problem officer?

Would be great off road for those times when you just can't get grip with the wheels.

You could even use the gaps in the panels as the air intake.

I don't think he was after speed, he's just pi$$ed at those bloody tailgaiters!

Imagine letting that go with some a$$wipe sittin right on the tail.

All the cops would find would be a pile of melted plastic and tin.
