    hole in the dash

    Hi All,
Could some one please tell me what the hole in my fender 300TDi dash is for, the one on the left of the cigarette lighter? There are also 4? wires with plugs directly behind this hole.
    Thanks
    Malcolm

hole in landrover (come on are you serious)

Well thats easy, its to let the water out of the dashboard after it comes in from another hole near windscreen.

p.s. make sure you also have a hole in the floor to allow the water from the hole in the dash to finally find its way back to where it originally come from.

You clearly don't own a Defender or earlier. The hole near the windscreen is the air vent and you don't need a hole in the floor because the water will drain out around the door seals
