    In reference to the Bathurst vid. I personally lost most of my interest once the variety was excluded and it became holden vs ford v8s. The days of the mini, the XU1, the Charger, the sierra and the nissans were 1000X more interesting than watching 2 almost identical types of vehicle going round and round for hours...

    Rally racing is much more interesting IMHO. Speaking of which - at the perth WRC show races in 2006, I saw a datsun 1400 beat a V8 commodore - by a country mile.

    I don't watch go kart.............I mean touring car Racing either, the same cars, just body shell dependant, plus you'd have to sit inside on the couch

    Couldn't agree more isuzurover, the dinosaur racing we get now has a very limited lifespan, and all they did by killing off the variety was kill off any chance of holden and ford developing anything that could compete on a world stage.
