Movember anyone ? Anyone else doing it ?

For the first time in my life I am growing facial hair - but for the Movember cause - raising money in Australia for Prostate Cancer research and BeyondBlue. Anyone else on here doing it ???

I admit it - I cheated somewhat by growing a scary multicoloured outback beard on my recent road trip from Darwin to Melbourne, a full couple of weeks before 1st Movember. And then shaving it down to a Magnum P.I / Queensland Police Inspector / Qantas flight attendent bushy job with a flat bottom to it. My crumb catcher is looking very impressive I have to say.

And the best bit - it's totally ***ginger**** ..... ahhhhhhh!

Oh - and if anyone is interested rewarding these charities for my face slug...:

    thanks Carl

I've had a mo since I was 17.........38 years. I didn't know anything about Movember then.

All that time I never knew what a trend setter I would be.

It is a worthy cause and well done all who participate.

Like you Numpty, I've had one for a similar length of time. And it sure is a good cause ... seeing as how I'm off to the Wesley 5 days a week at the moment for External Beam zapping. Almost 2 down, only 3 to go .

The owners of the name Movember made quite a lot of money for themselves last year that never got to the charities. I would prefer to donate direct to the charites rather than line the pockets of the Movember owners.
