    Driver Training/Clubs

Iv owned Land Rovers since i was 12 and i am finally beginning to modify instead of spending money buying another one ...

But i want to be sure i am using my Discovery to its best abilities but not takeing it too far, Iv heard of many driver training courses but are there any of you who know of a good course near Newcastle. Also how do i go about joining a club? what is a normal price if any to be a member of a club and what are the perks of being in a club?

Personally I'm not a clubs man. I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member. This forum here would have to be the best damn LR club in Australia hands down. I'd rather pay to exist here than pay a club, and I know a few other people here will agree.

As for driver training, there are heaps of places that run courses, METEC, 4wd vic etc, must be plenty in NSW.

One perk is that a lot of clubs run their own driver training for little cost, or even free as part of your membership.

There is another major advantage to being in a club.

All registered clubs have to carry comprehensive insurance which means you are covered while out on club trips.
