Thread: Can someone identify this reptile ?

Certainly no expert, but I'll be putting my money on a 'legless lizard' of some variety.

Legless lizard.......harmless....lost a bit of his tail

Thanks for so far confirming my thought.

It does not behave like a snake .... it will sit there for ages just with its head raised.

Most snakes I know would take off at speed.
