    Question New SVX in Brisbane

I had an "Elvis" moment yesterday... new Defender SVX parked on the footpath in Ferny Hills, Brisbane. No photos, sorry, but we all know what they look like.

Is there someone on here who's been keeping mum?

It looks like it has been on the road for more than a few weeks judging by the brake dust on the front alloys.

Well not mine I hope because mine was supposed to be with the wife and kids in another part of town.
Getting some great waves as we drive about, only hope my wife returns waves while she uses it as the daily drive for work on weekdays.

Well to be precise, it was parked on the footpath on the corner of Tarnook Dr & Barber Rd, Ferny Hills at about 9:30am, Saturday.

If it was her, then she needs to be reminded that in a vehicle like that, you WILL be noticed .

Well if she got me a chrissie pressie she's hiding it well.

We are loving the SVX. Took it to North shore over the weekend. What a fantastic 4X4, but I already knew that. To hold a normal conversation at 110 km up the Bruce and hear the kids sitting all the way in the back (although that is a stretch).
The stereo is awesome, I can almost use it properly.
Only problem is the carpeting, although I have all the mats the sand still gets everywhere and as Fred is only two weeks old and looks so good I feel I need to vacuum to keep it looking so swish.
Have a few niggly little Defender issues that are hopefully going to be sorted when returned to Dealer. Worst the brakes suddenly disappeared, they returned quick enough for me to manage tn avoid hitting traffic. The problem has not re-appeared, so may be difficult to source. But it did happen and scared the $#i* out of me.
The rear door locks itself when offroad and the GPS packed up.

Even my wife has warmed to Fred and now loves driving her. She has noticed how much you get noticed when in it.

Living for the weekends now, It's my wifes during the week.
    Cheers
