Oy you, that job belongs to this 'prentice

As for booking a container for the 110 (presumbably Jon's not Bren's) what I think would be a damn good idea is to get a big container that they will both go in and then me and Elly could go too to grease balls and have long stands and maybe search out the odd bucket of steam or two.

Glad you had a good time. Going back to Yorkshire must be a change - must be pretty miserable this time of year?

(however I think it is one of the nicest parts of the British Isles)

Cold and snowy in my bit of Yorkshire.

Was chatting to Bren on Messenger the other morning and I decided to frighten him, so I swung the webcam round to show him a panorama out of the bedroom window. It was perfect Christmas card country, blue skies and snow. His reaction was priceless

We had a snow day at school yesterday (school had to close because of the weather) but unfortuneately I missed it cos I am on jury service and I had to make sure I got to court as it was verdict day.

It's summer here, but 2 weekends ago it snowed on Barrington Tops (a few hours north of Sydney) - 100mm cover at Polblue. Flamin hot today though.

Yep. Fickle weather indeed. It's 36oC outside today here. Just about to go for a swim.
A couple of weeks ago it was freezing cold out at Elong and we had a roaring fire going inside to keep us warm.

No wonder so many people are suffering from the sniffles.

    Should I suggest GLOBAL WARMING
No - just the good old Aussie weather ....

Wouldn't want to live anywhere else

Just an interesting addition to the above weather chat. We have friends who live in Scotland and they were telling us the other day the weather was so cold and depressing, they put on their SAD lamp.

We've never heard of it, and asked our cousin who was visiting from the UK what it was. Apparently it's a lamp which when put on, gives the warmth and light that we take for granted, from the sun. It supposedly helps with depression when the weather is really bad.

Looked it up on ebay and they cost quite a bit.

No wonder we love the life in Oz
