Thread: TD5 EGR Alert

Does it bring back turbo whine??? I have no turbo whine.... I want TURBO WHINE!!!!!
Will be doing this when I get back from holidays.

I take it there's no difference for engines fitted with the EGR cooler?? Mines a D2a update.

no differance, well there is but not where an EGR removal kit is concerned.
and you wont get the turbo whine in a disco unless you remove the cat, and all the mufflers...and then it will still be really hard to hear due to the disco's good sound proofing.

Swap your central muffler for a straight through pipe. Cost is less than $100. The whine on my TD5 130 is a lot more audible after doing this (but still not as good as as Mack Truck ...)
