well there you go part of the problem, was ian told me I wouldn't need the regulator on the gun!! as I can regulate pressure from the tank.......he also forgot to tell me he was guessing that and that he didn't actually know!
if I would of known that I would of asked on here...needless to say i have put the reg on the gun I was told 5 to 6 coats.....well i'm on my 5th and although some bits look OK some parts look like they are wet so probably a tad to much paint.
you think i'm likely to get it back with the 6th and final coat? if there are patches on the bonnet that still look a little wet will these dry and blend in? of will the bonnet always look patchy..
If it goes on patchy it will stay patchy, i would let it fully dry and rub it back and repaint tomorrow, sounds like you had too much pressure if the gun was bubbling and farting. Are you using a suction or gravity fed gun ?
