    Pragmatism vs ideology Stevo.

    Today I could have said I wanted to use my Tdi auto to pull a tandem of firewood home, because I wouldn't be seen dead in an inferior car to a LR.

    But the pragmatist in me didn't want to do 80 up every bloody hill in third unlocked screaming.

    Simple
    If I could be ****ed, I go an give myself a refresher on what the 2 words mean again ...bluddy young whipper snappers.....glad my oldest is only 11.. give me some breathing space. Hmmm, ok where was I...ok Im probably...without looking...more the ideologist..thats just me. As said before...horses for courses. If you want to go drive some ****an....kudo's.....just says to me one isnt a died in the wool fanatic....and that is cool. I just find that on the whole the LR driver is and wouldnt drive a pooyota or ****an....simple. Its almost a way of life....look at the forum...interactions etc....it all revolves around the green oval.....if that reflection of the green oval is a bit neither here nor there...then they dont have the green blood flowing. Simple...just my thoughts...not necessarily right or wrong....but asta la vista,

    Regards

    Steve ;

    People change their vehicles all the time , I see no reason why Brad should be showing complete loyalty towards the "Landrover" Marque , he has made his decision to move on towards another marque a Jap Nissan ( CRD Nivara ) well be it , and all he is doing is saying his good byes , I also see no reason to be emotive about this , we have a fellow in our Club who owned nothing but landrovers for many years and then one day sold his landrover and bought a 4.2l Tdi Nissan Trayback because it;s more suitable for his work as he is a roof Tiler, but noone flamed him for it , we all respected his decision.

    oh BTW BradM good luck with your purchase and drop in for a chat.

    Hey mate.....I think we need to acknowledge that I have said it is my opinion....Im not saying I am right or wrong.....not am I emotive about it. As stated would rather my nuts sauteed, fried, mashed, roasted, bbq'ed than ever drive something japanese...thats just me. Passion for something transcends obstacles/issues etc....hence why so many of us are LR through and through...whether new or old. As for comparisons...there is an LR to compete with any Toyota or Nissan...trayback/ dual cab/ passenger/ luxury/ agricultural etc. LR is 4WD...the others aren't..they are 4WD, they are sedans, sports cars, etc etc. Its not a matter of flaming per se...but what he is saying is that Nissans are better than LRs...for what ever the reason so asta la vista and best wishes ,

    Regards

    Since you mentioned it, you have to be the one to tell Stevo he isn't Schwarzenegger.
