Someone else is as bad as me.

    So you're reading some mail.

Or was it an unavoidable pop-up?

How do you go on SMS?

    I can't remember if it was a pop-up.

Re SMS, my wife gets annoyed with my one word replies to hers, e.g., Yes, No, etc. I send about one SMS a week (if that often). Often I don't even realise I've received one and see the SMS several days later- my PDA phone doesn't display a big sign saying "X missed calls" or "Y messages received". It has little symbols on the screen which tend to not see.

So if you want to urgently communicate with me, I don't know of an easy way to do so. Often I don't even carry the mobile with me - or I don't hear it. My wife rang me several times yesterday and I 'd forgotten I'd put in a distinctive ringtone for family about a week or so ago. I didn't recognise the ring and thought it was someone else's phone. So I ignored it. (You can see I get a lot of calls from family!)

I only found the missed calls by accident a few hours later.

    I was not popular.

My sin is not one of not reading emails, more one of not deleting the twaddle when I have glanced at it. Every so often I sort the messages by sender and get shut of the rubbish.
I don't have any RSS feeds but I am also guilty of not deleting a lot of read emails. I wonder how many I have on this laptop......?

For my 2 bob's worth, I think that ignoring emails might be ok, but ignoring PM's is the height of rudeness! It only takes a few seconds to check and reply.
AULRO is supposed to be a 'community of LR owners', 'communities' communicate.

Not necessarily. Some replies may take quite a lot of research.

We won't talk about the several thousand PMs to which I've already replied.
