Must've been a lonely walk.
Or something is jumping in his jodhpurs.

I'm half through reading this & thought its so good to share it. This guy did a solo walk from Walhalla to nearly Canberra across "Victoria"s rooftop" the Alpine walking track. Great pics, and interesting dialogue. For some reason I cant get it to start at day 1 but I'm sure you can work it out.

That will take you to page one.
A good little read. I think I would rather do it with a buddy.
thanks for posting that dj & slug, shows how little snow there was this year when there's only a few drifts in shady spots - Tumut Ponds dam is fairly low I know
the trip through the GreyMare locality brought back memories... they make you walk there now, but the tracks are kept good for the rangers to be able to drive in on fishing expeditions etc I guess
I haven't done the whole walk, but various friends and I have done many sections, including the Main Range past Mt Kosi.![]()
