You've got some nice yards and outlooks there.

Bloody Kookaburras. I still recall one of those cheeky beggars swooping off the fence and landing on the side of the BBQ and then flying off with a piece of meat!
    Cheers

My mates dad had a good reciepe for Kooka soup

Not sure if I would try it but that fella looks to have some meat on him

Really though, we used to have one when I lived in Mt Evelyn that used to come down and nick stuff off the BBQ all the time so I used to cut up a sausage and leave it on the side of the BBQ frame so he didnt get burned as he tried walking on the grill one time to get to them.

He also nicked a piece of chicken off my plate once, scared the crap out of me when he flew down over my shoulder.

If the light is right the little lense in the phone can take a reasonable picture.

Must be a great place to live if you have them fellas coming onto your back verandah.

Rather than start a new thread have dug this one up.

I have dropped a bit of grain during feeding stock etc. Look who has turned up Like to have them stay. They are rather tame compared to other wild birds here.

Probably more Nieve than tame, stupid trusting buggers they are

Nice to have pretty birdies hanging around, entertaining watching them squabble to
