Many of you here think I'm all over bad spellers. I'm not. I usually only comment on spelling where (a) the person makes a spelling error whilst correcting someone else, (b) where we can have some fun without offending, or (c) where the spelling makes a real difference to the understanding.
I often go in and correct spelling to clarify stuff (or to ensure something will come up in a later search) but I don't have time nor the inclination to fix everything

OK I understand SMS text stands for Short Message Service (or is it system?) text otherwise known as text speech. There again I have no idea what L33t stands for! Would someone care to enlighten me please?Quote:

One of the minor problems I have with grammar is the distinction between then and than. For some reason I have a blind spot with the use of them.
People misspell and use bad grammar for many reasons varying from dyslexia, low intelligence, low chronological age, not being fluent in English to being from a different 'English' speaking culture e.g. USA v UK v Australia

May I strongly suggest to the moderators that if anyone uses L33t on here that the post is deleted on the grounds that it would fail to communicate easily and clearly to the majority of users on here.
