The problem with this thread and several of the others on the same subject is that people have entrenched views and that posts are being added so quickly that people don't have time to read them all carefully or to think about what has been written.
As a result we have some people implying that others have accused someone who has made a few errors of being ignorant or lazy.
The complaint was not about the occasional mistake. It was about the posts that become hard to read when it appears that the writer has made little effort to write clearly.
So a lot of the responses are to something that wasn't actually said.
It also appears to me that a lot of the posts are pretty lighthearted, hardly evidence that we are being intolerant.
Some of us enjoy the cut and thrust of a good argument. A topic that attracts over 80 responses in just over an hour obviously amuses, interests or annoys a few people.
