Sorry to hear that steve but even in my industrie (laser cutting) we only have enough work for 1 day and it looks like I will have to start cutting jobs.
I hate being the boss sometimes
Adam
You will never regret it. I left as soon as I thought I could afford to. I retired the day after I signed the cheque for the last lot of school fees for my youngest.
My advice to all. Retire as young as possible. You don't know what is ahead of you health-wise. I have seen too many friends and colleagues die or suffer ill-health before retiring or soon after retiring too late when they could have left years before and had some life.
If I'd retired a year ago when I turned 60, I'd have more money in my super than now - it would have had a fair bit more converted to cash.
Steve - pm sent.
Thanks BMK pm returned!
Looks like instead of going back to work then i should take everyones advice and retire young.. is 33 young enough? i should get a few years to enjoy myself then :)
doesnt matter i guess when you retire or what you do ... as long as you enjoy it! oh and get chance to enjoy it too :D
Thanks
Steve
Sorry to hear that too adam.. i have some more work for you too.. but nothing that will keep you running for more than a few minutes! and nothing i want to put through yet until i know for definite that im going or staying here!
Yeah i can imagine that being the manager is crap.. our boss looked pretty down yesterday.. although he did say to me.. look on the bright side.. you can now finish the decking.. and strangely it was the first thing rach said too... anyone would think i was slow!
Thanks
Steve
Sorry to hear guys.
I have at least a year before I have to contemplate worrying.
By then my project will probably be extended due to what the replacement will cost.
