I can easily imagine a situation where I would appreciate a "x2" post from someone.

If I asked a question and got a response from a Type 2, I would then find it very reassuring to get a "x2" from a person who was both a Type 1 and Type 4.

I wouldn't expect anything else if all that was needed was confirmation from someone who was generally regarded as a very reliable source.

you forgot Type 5.....those whose only ambition is to have the highest post count and will post anything to get there, in the process just adding total **** and useless information or picking fights.....
