i know what you mean about the cost I thought landy dealers where expensive but last time I went to the dentist the hourly rate worked out at about $750 an hour

Sounds like what happened to me about 4 months ago... I get my Wisdom Teeth removed next Friday. Bloody expensive!Well, yesterday, finally went to the dentist as a pointy bit of back molar was eating into the side of my mouth
The FIRST filling in my life!!, which was a biggun, has turned into an Xray, the bottom wisdom teeth are surgery jobs, the top 2 are through, but have nothing to bite against, so the dentist reckons "might aswell flick them out" and have to go back for another filling............the funny thing is........... the pain.............the upset tummy..................the man in my mouth, doesn;t bother me

Recently parted with over 6k at the dentist ..... yes that's right ... 6K ... not a typo ... 6K. Anyway, not sure if you are aware or not but once you reach $1,500.00 at the dentist or doctor what you spend beyond that is tax deductable, so try and do it all in 1 financial year.
I got back about 1.6k for my trouble ..... but just imagine what I could have got for the Disco with 6k .... oh the humanity .....

I'd bet you're not the only guy here far more scared of the bill the receptionist hands you than anything the dentist can do.

SubscriberJust make sure you have a check before going travelling.
I found out luckily in Quorn that there are NO dentists between Port Augusta and ( well I do not Know Maybe Alice Springs ) but people go from Birdsville to Port Augusta.
BTW I found that medications were also a bit problematic when I tried to renew my script in Winton. I had to pick them up in Cloncurry next day, after they had been sent from Townsville
